MODERN QUADRILLE: Choreographed by Anna Botelho, and danced to Post Apocalypse Punk by Abney Park, this high-energy dance uses some of the lovely figures from the Schottische quadrille, but with a punky twist.
SCHOTTISCHE QUADRILLE: Choreographed by Monica Shen Knotts and Ryan Knotts, and danced to Lima Schottische by American Cafe Orchestra, this elegant dance utilizes historical figures, but modifies them to accommodate our characters’ conversations.
VICTORIAN TANGO: reconstructed by Richard Powers using an 1856 dance manual and research into childrens’ schoolyard games (which reflect the popular adult dances of earlier years), this elegant yet tense dance lends itself perfectly to a fraught conversation between Adelle and Amelia.
